About Me

Hey! My Name's Ami (like the French word for friend), and I'm a 21 year old Pan woman who's hopelessly head over heels in love with my f/o's~

I'm a bit shy at first, and have anxiety issues, as well as depression, and I use self shipping to help cope with that and other things, along with just being in love with these characters too.

Because of this, I'm a tad bit iffy on sharing f/o's. But even though I can't make promises about it, so long as people are nice and understanding about my issues/anxiety about it, I'm willing to at least try with some of them.

I'm also a writer, and thus my main source of content is my writing! So please, keep this in mind when you get further down and read my F/O List, as I tend to not only write myself into canon, but also write out the bits I don't like about my f/o's sources.

All that having been said, I'd be happy to try and befriend anyone who would like to talk and get to know me! My messages and inbox are always open to friendly people~

As I previously said, I'm a bit iffy when it comes to sharing most of my f/o's, but I'll elaborate more on that with each individual one in their section below!

Regardless, I would like for people to know that I tend to take sharing on a case by case basis for f/o's I'm a bit iffy on sharing. And if someone is marked as not comfortable with sharing, I'd really appreciate if you would tag any ships you may reblog of that f/o with "ami don't look"!

Do Not Interact

Honestly this is mostly just the typical DNI stuff, but to not interact with me if you
fit any of the following criteria:

TERF, MAP, Racist, Homophobe of any kind (this includes Aro/Ace identities, and especially so if you're a Panphobe), you're going to harass me about any of my f/o's or for not being comfortable sharing some of them, or believe that I should just "look for the real thing"
instead of self shipping.

Before You Follow

There isn't a whole lot to go over here that I haven't mentioned on my About page, but I will be going a bit more in depth with the things I mentioned. As a result, this is a bit lengthy, but I do believe that it is for the best that people read this prior to following me:

Firstly, I am an adult. I am currently 21 years of age, and if that makes you uncomfortable for any reason, you are more than welcome to skip over me. I am generally ok with minors interacting, as the blog I have linked here is completely SFW (I have a separate blog for NSFW things), but personally I would rather you not follow or interact with me if you
are under the age of 16.

As I mentioned in my About, I do have some mental health issues. These include Major Depression, General Anxiety Disorder, and Social Phobia, as well as a few other suspected things. This, unfortunately, makes it hard for me to communicate, keep up with, or approach people at times. So if I go radio silent on you for awhile, I can almost guarantee that it's because I'm not the best at 1 on 1 communication with newer people and/or I may just
be low on energy at the time.

Something to note, however, is that I do not openly vent on my blog, and I do not participate in discourse and such around the community. I would rather stay out of debates, discourse, and just current happenings (including events from time to time), as they tend to make me anxious.

The last thing I can think to put here is that while I understand that my f/o's are fictional, I generally try to treat my ships like real relationships as much as I can, which is partially why I'm uncomfortable with sharing some of them. This is because on top of feeling real attraction to these characters, I do not intend on dating IRL.

The reasoning behind this is rather deeply rooted in both the general and relationship trauma I've suffered throughout my life, and as a result, my experiences have completely turned me away from dating as a whole. As such, self shipping is my only way of getting to experience romantic attraction and love. So, if you are against this for any reason, or believe that it is "absurd" or "wrong" of me to prefer this over a "real relationship", then I suggest that you do not follow or interact with me.

I am happy as I am, and that is all that matters.

Iffy With Sharing (?)

Erwin is my longest standing f/o, with the approximate date of me beginning to ship with him being around August of 2013.

Of course, I didn't know self shipping was a thing at the time, and instead shipped him with an oc of mine that was more or less me but "better". Since then I have slowly been rebuilding our story together with myself, as well as building a different timeline from the canon one for several different reasons.

I have no idea if I'll ever finish constructing this branch off from AoT canon, but regardless of that, I love my darling Commander Erwin all the same.
